Climate Alliance of the South Sound humbly invites everyone to join us in a monthly drum circle and potluck, when not on hiatus. All drum circles are led by local Indigenous leaders or Elders.
Everyone is welcome to bring something for the potluck but it is not required.

The environmental movement in the United States has historically been racist and anti-worker. Climate Alliance of the South Sound stands against this by uniting Indigenous wisdom and the worker's movement.

This movie looks at the fight for environmental justice across Africa, especially in South Africa, Namibia, and surrounding regions.
This is a newer movie is a overview of the Puyallup, Nisqually, and Coast Salish fight for fishing rights and the role the bolt decision had in upholding treaty rights. Screened with special guest Ramona Bennet who is featured in the film.
This movie from the 70's looks at the heroic fight of Puyallup, Nisqually, and Coast Salish people for the right to fish .
This movie looks at the trial of 8 activists who were tried in 1969 for protesting the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. We screened this after CASS went to Chicago to protest the same convention over 50 years later.
This movie shows the Great March of Return protests in occupied Palestine in 2018. Over 200 unarmed Palestinians were killed by Israeli snipers. We screened this a few weeks after October 7th, 2023 to help explain our ongoing commitment to Palestinian liberation.

Bridge Industrial has come into our community uninvited - so we returned the favor! CASS took the fight to Bridge Industrial's home base in Chicago and rallied with Chicagoans against our common enemy - greedy corporations that put profit above people!
CASS works to inform the community through canvassing, tabling, and banner dropping - that's where we hang a banner over a freeway overpass so oncoming traffic can see our message.
CASS is committed to shutting down the NWDC which is built on stolen Puyallup Land which has been so polluted it is now a super fund site. Follow La Resistencia on Instagram to learn more about how you can help!
Information is an important weapon! We hosted a walking tour to inform our community about whats going on in their own back yards. The city tries to hide their pollution, but we won't let them!
